Mivelogna - Project Competition (September 2022 - March 2023)

MIVELOGNA is a program set up by NGO Jade that aims to support young people, stay-at-home mothers and unemployed people in Tamatave and the surrounding area in creating or maintaining an income-generating activity. The long-term goal is to contribute to adapting the labor sector in the city of Tamatave and the Atsinanana region. In addition, the program aims to raise awareness of NGO Jade as a player in business creation support and to establish strategic partnerships to achieve these goals.

In September 2022, the second phase of the MIVELOGNA project was successfully carried out, including the « Project Competition ». This phase included two training sessions for members of the public on « Simplified Management » and « Project Design ». These trainings were provided by professionals from the bank and from La Fabrique des Pratiques Entrepreneuriales. Participants then presented their project before a competent jury and the public at the Grand Final on November 12 2022. The nine most outstanding projects won cash prizes ranging from 250 to 500 euros.

During this second phase, the MIVELOGNA program benefited from numerous partnerships, notably with La Fabrique and the regional office of the Ministry of Labor, Civil Service and Social Legislation. Provisional results indicate that 18 program beneficiaries received financial assistance to create or sustain their activity. The rule of 75% direct investment was largely respected, and beneficiaries with an approaching repayment deadline began repaying their debt.
