Viavy SMART 2025

The Viavy SMART program, run by NGO JADE, stands out as a model for including Malagasy women in digital professions. Launched in 2018 in Toamasina, this project aims to strengthen women's presence in information and communication technologies (ICT), a sector where men are notably more active.

The main goal of Viavy SMART is to integrate, support and train young women so they can master digital tools. For its 8th edition in 2025, the focus was on training in the Social Media Manager profession, enabling participants to develop concrete skills in digital communication and content strategy.

• 30 women successfully trained in social media management.
• Certificates awarded to all participants.
• Acquisition of hands-on skills and increased visibility for NGO JADE in Toamasina.

The training took place from May 19 to 23, 2025, led by a copywriting and communication specialist. The event was punctuated by advertising campaigns, hands-on sessions, and personalized follow-up. The human dimension was highlighted, as was the recognition of participants' efforts through the award of certificates and media coverage on TV Plus.
