Dev Bootcamp 2022

NGO JADE organized a training course on web application creation using the Laravel framework from November 21 to 25, 2022, as part of the promotion and outreach of ICT tools for the "Open Days 2022" project. This training was led by Mr. BOUDI Gislaine Carino Rodrigue, a web developer and Master's student at the University of Toamasina, in the MIA program - Mathematics, Computer Science and Applications. A total of 20 people took part in this training.

The training took place at NGO JADE's headquarters in Mangarano, Réfrigepêche, on the 1st floor, from 8 am to 5 pm with a break from 12 pm to 2 pm. The training content included basic Laravel programs for beginners as well as skills for intermediate levels. The educational objectives were to give participants a basic understanding of the Laravel framework, familiarize them with development tools, and enable them to create their own web application.

Beginners learned the fundamentals of the Laravel framework, including setting up the development environment, installing and configuring the framework, database management, database migrations, authentication and user management. Intermediate-level participants learned more advanced skills such as creating controllers, creating models, database relationships, file management and form validation.

The training had a significant impact on participants, as it allowed them to discover new skills and become familiar with Laravel's development tools. Participants were able to put their newly acquired skills into practice by creating their own web application, which boosted their self-confidence and their motivation to keep learning and further explore web development.
