The Grand Carnival — NGO JADE's 20th Anniversary

On 20 December 2025, NGO JADE (Jeunes Actifs pour le Développement) celebrated twenty years of commitment in Toamasina with a full day of festivities, opened by a grand morning carnival. Setting off from the NGO's headquarters in Mangarano, the colourful procession made its way through the streets to the heart of the city, carried by the smiles, colours and enthusiasm of members, volunteers and residents who turned out in large numbers.

This festive parade marked the symbolic start of "D-Day" for the 20th anniversary, whose programme continued with an afternoon dedicated to the Clean Relay J20 clean-up operation on Miami beach, before closing in the evening with a grand gala evening at l'Espace La Famille.

NGO JADE warmly thanks all the volunteers, participants and partners who contributed to the success of this memorable day: Recycl'anay, The Streamliner Hotel Apartment, O'Gagneur Restaurant, Miami Toamasina and Jifalahy Percussion. These twenty years of commitment belong above all to everyone who, every day, brings the NGO's mission to life in Toamasina.
