Open Days 2025

The 12th edition of ICT Day and Free Software Promotion (Open Days), organized by NGO JADE (Jeunes Actifs pour le Développement), was held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Grande Salle of C.E.D.I, opposite Soavita, from 8am to 12pm in the morning and 2pm to 5pm in the afternoon.

Five speakers, professionals and digital actors from Toamasina, each presented a topic on ICT, free software and artificial intelligence:

• Urban transport and digital innovation: the key to more sustainable cities — Donnat Bezara, CEO DNA Webhost
• Youth and employment in Toamasina: identifying key factors to improve professional integration — Tsitoha Paulin Didier, CGI Tafita
• Computer vision application in mobile devices — Kadafi Ben, IT professional
• AI does not replace developers: it replaces developers who do not use it — Ratombotiana Judicaël, IT professional
• Construction and automation — Toto H. Félicien Biot, CEO ARCKI

As with previous editions, this day allowed local young IT professionals and anyone interested in digital technology to train, exchange with industry professionals, and discover free software, in a spirit of sharing and networking.
