Sys Bootcamp - 2018

As part of the ICT outreach focus area of the OPEN DAYS 2018 project, ONG JADE, a non-governmental organization (NGO), organized an introductory GNU/Linux training from November 19 to 23, 2018 at the Alliance française de Tamatave. The purpose of the training was to enable participants to master the GNU/LINUX operating system. The training was led by RASOLOFONIRINA Eric, an IT professional from Antananarivo, and took place from 8:30 am to noon and from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (for a total of 30 hours).

The introductory GNU/Linux training focused on hands-on exercises to enable the 17 learners, aged 18 to 62, to quickly and easily understand the key concepts of the GNU/Linux operating system. The training aimed to provide an enriching, interactive learning experience to enable participants to acquire the knowledge needed to use GNU/Linux with confidence.
