Green Class 2022 - Ampasinambo Agro-camping

NGO JADE organized a green class from August 26 to 28, 2022 in the village of Ampasinambo. This initiative aimed to guide participants toward actively seeking solutions for local environmental protection, promoting environmental education and offering participants a short getaway. The village of Ampasinambo, located 29 km from Tamatave on RN2, offers an ideal setting for relaxing and discovering the surrounding nature.

Eight outside individuals took part in the green class, accompanied by seven members of NGO Jade's team. All the activities planned for this edition were carried out, including participatory games, camping, the campfire, the waterfall visit, etc. Participants also received a crash course in environmental education.

This green class was therefore a real success for NGO JADE, which was thus able to raise participants' awareness of the importance of environmental protection. By offering participants a short getaway, the NGO was also able to let them discover a new region and open up to new cultures. Finally, this initiative allowed the NGO to promote its work in favor of environmental education, which remains a major issue for the future of Madagascar and the entire planet.
